Strengths-Based Therapy

I support teens, young adults, and adults through experiences such as trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I bring a warm, genuine, and collaborative approach to therapy, creating a space where you can feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. We can start with what feels most important to you and work together at a pace that feels right, building greater understanding, confidence, and trust in yourself along the way.

My practice is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of how our experiences, relationships, and nervous system can shape the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. I draw from Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative work, and somatic approaches to help clients better understand their patterns, regulate difficult emotions, challenge beliefs that may be keeping them stuck, and develop greater self-trust and compassion. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and approachable; while we may explore difficult experiences together, there is also room for curiosity, creativity, and even humour when it supports the therapeutic process.

I also have a strong personal and professional interest in the connection between mind, body, movement, animals, and nature. I believe movement is medicine and that supporting our mental health extends beyond the therapy session. Whether through movement, mindfulness, time outdoors, grounding, or connection with animals, I encourage clients to discover what helps them feel more connected and regulated in their everyday lives. Above all, I value authenticity, compassion, and connection, and my goal is to help clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change.

Integrity at our core. Compassion in our care. Excellence in every step.
